OptiMed Technologies, Inc. is a worldwide healthcare information systems company. OptiMed designs, develops, integrates and markets digital image storage, archive and retrieval systems, patient information management systems, Web based systems and cardiology PACS. OptiMed provides turnkey solutions to the cardiology, vascular, echocardiography and nuclear medicine departments in the hospital as well as tailor made systems and software solutions to private practices.

OptiMed's Products
OptiMed's products facilitate the storage and archival of all procedures performed in the cath lab (including echo and hemodynamic reports) and provide an immediate and flexible playback capability of high quality, real-time clinical images. The images are displayed on a monitor at independent work stations or review stations and terminals, which can be located anywhere in the hospital in addition to the cardiology department. More importantly, with its Web server technology, OptiMed-generated images can be displayed anywhere in the world. OptiMed's report generation application (medical transcription) provides the physician with the capability to produce a structured-report that includes results and observations while viewing the images, eliminating the need for traditional voice dictation and transcription. OptiMed's open architecture system operates on fast hospital network to provide patient images as well as patient data, which are kept current and accessible at any station or terminal. Accordingly, the review of a patient study can be simultaneously viewed and shared with other departments (e.g., surgery) via the network without the doctor having to leave the department. OptiMed's products support medical standards (i.e., DICOM , HL7 and IHE) and comply with HIPAA regulations. OptiMed's products are FDA approved (510k) and have the CE Mark.

Marketing
OptiMed's principal distribution capabilities are both through direct sales and through a network of dealers and manufacturer representatives in the U.S. and select foreign countries. The dealers and MR's are large, well-established imaging equipment companies that already sale various types of cardiology capital equipment, radiology equipment and disposable products for both cardiology and radiology. The dealer/MR network's activities are closely coordinated and managed by OptiMed's regional sales managers. This approach enables the Company to benefit from each representative's own network of strong local relationships with hospitals in a particular territory. OptiMed provides sales and service support to the dealers.

Personnel
OptiMed has a core team experienced in the development and distribution of image management and archiving systems. The individuals who form the nucleus of management have extensive backgrounds in the medical image processing and storage device field. The team's strength is in the development of proprietary software and hardware, its in-depth knowledge and understanding of the market's needs and its expertise in integrating systems with existing X-ray equipment.

Efraim Landa, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder, has over 25 years of experience in the sales, marketing and development of product lines in the medical field. Since 1992, Mr. Landa has served as a management consultant specializing in the areas of capital formation and marketing strategies for emerging growth companies in the U.S. and Israel.

Ben Zion Noy, President and co-founder, has approximately 25 years of extensive experience in sales, marketing and product development of proprietary medical imaging equipment.

Moshe Zchut, Vice President-Technology and co-founder, has approximately 18 years of experience in developing hardware and software for image processing systems, the majority of which has been in the design of medical systems. Mr. Zchut is an active member of medical and technology committees.

Beny Sherer, Vice President-Customer Support, has over 20 years of experience in operation management, research and development and production management in the medical imaging field.

Regional Sales Managers, The Company's Regional Sales Managers have many years of experience in selling medical imaging and cardiology capital equipment through their associations with the leading medical imaging equipment manufacturers.
