OptiMed's Echo Work Station includes all
the necessary hardware and software for enhanced viewing of Echo
patient images in real-time as well as other modalities (e.g., Cath,
Nuclear, CT, MR, etc). The Echo Work Station is connected to the
network which allows access to other stations and to the Archive.
Dual monitors and report generation
provide enhanced capabilities. Diagnostic tools and measurements
are also included.

The Echo Work Station includes the following components:

- PC with Windows 2000/XP operating software
- Two High Resolution monitors (flat screen)
- Capacity of hundreds of studies (at 30fps)
- Processing functions, including playback speed control
- Enhanced imaging functions: Filters, Edge, Zoom Window/Level
- Network interface
- Database (SQL)
- DICOM CD read and write
- Report generation (Echo Reports)
- B-color and measurements
