In order to share information in the hospital and in the private practice, OptiMed provides interfaces to the different EMR and EHR systems. OptiMed developed interfaces to many EMR and EHR systems for data exchange with these systems. OptiMed's system can automatically receive schedule, orders, ADT and other patient information. The system can also automatically send results, images and other data to the EMR or EHR systems for comprehensive patient record. The interfaces are usually based on standard protocols (e.g., HL7, ASCII). OptiMed can also design and customize specific interfaces for systems that do not support standard protocols.
