In order to share information in the cath lab OptiMed provides interfaces to the different hemodynamic systems and to the cath lab and heart centers database systems. The information is collected before and during cath procedure and may be shared with cath lab and hospital repository systems (orders and results) for comprehensive patient record. The interfaces are usually based on standard protocols (e.g., HL7, SQL, ASCII) however OptiMed can design and customize specific interfaces for systems that do not support standard protocols. These interfaces allow exchange and sharing of data (e.g., demographics, history, log, results etc.) between the different systems and vendors.
