The Universal Review Station includes all
of the necessary hardware and software for review of patient images
of different modalities (e.g., XA, US, MR, CT, NM, etc.) in real-time.
Universal Review Station includes speed control, image processing,
pre-fetch, side-by-side compare and other clinical and diagnostic
functions. The Universal Review Station is connected to the network,
which provides access to the other stations and to a storage device
within the system. When combined with DICOM Server images from hospital
central storage (e.g., PACS, NAS) can be viewed on the Universal
Review Station.
