WEB SERVER - Internet
Fast Access
The Web Server, physically located within
the hospital, provides secure access to patient records over
the Internet for users outside the hospital, while using the hospital's
Intranet to provide access for local users. The Web Server communicates
with all imaging modalities within the hospital, including cardiology,
ultrasound, radiology and oncology using DICOM interface. The hospital's
IS department can control access, security (HIPAA), and privileges
for all users. The web server can be accessed by simple web player
or OptiMed's provided client application.
