Some of OptiMed's achievements in data image
management and archival include the following installations:
Providence-St. Vincent's Medical Center, Oregon - OptiMed
provided a multi-hospital solution that networked 9 cath labs, 7
echo machines, a Web Server, 4 servers and a jukebox collectively
located in three different hospitals and a separate IT center covering
a 25-30 mile radius. This unique system configuration interfaced
with cath equipment by GE, Siemens and Philips.
Mt. Sinai Medical Center, New York - This configuration networked
numerous stations located throughout the hospital and cath equipment
by Siemens, Toshiba and Philips and introduced InstaVu technology
that provides for instantaneous access to patient records for up
to ten years.
Maimonides Medical Center, New York - Since its initial installation
in 1995, OptiMed's solution has maintained state-of-the-art status
by virtue of the system's true open architecture. Starting out as
a two lab configuration, this networked solution has evolved to
encompass 15 stations located in various departments (e.g., OR,
surgery, conference room, etc.) spread out over several buildings.
Interfaced equipment in four cath labs includes GE and Philips.
Archive system is also provided for 3 echo machines. The system
includes storage, review and reports for all echo images. Physicians
can view cath and echo images side by side on the same station.
Hackensack University Medical Center, New Jersey - This installation
comprises a fully integrated cath, echo and web server system for
a very advanced, high tech hospital complex with GE and Trex cath
labs. OptiMed's solution was unique due to the significant involvement
of the hospital's IT department in the configuration. The system
also includes echo solution with review and report capabilities.
Borgess Medical Center, Michigan - OptiMed provided a solution
for 7 cath labs (Toshiba and Siemens) and a Nerology Philips suite
located in several different buildings including a remote hospital,
all connected via Gigabit network. This installation illustrates
OptiMed's flexibility for upgrades over the years as new products
such as InstaVu, echo and IVUS have been added to expand the capabilities
of the system.
Geisinger Medical Center, Pennsylvania - This system configuration
includes a Web Server installed at 3 different affiliated hospitals,
thereby enabling the affiliated hospitals to immediately send images
from thier diagnostic procedures to Geisinger for prompt and immediate
opinions and referrals.
MedCath, Inc. - OptiMed has sold over a dozen fixed and mobile
sites for this cath lab company. Solutions have involved interfacing
to x-ray equipment by GE, Philips, XRE and Siemens.
