The Freeman hybrid basket is specifically designed for use in the renal pelvis. It takes into account the challenging anatomy and the accessibility of the stones, especially in the lower calyx group. The basket opens in front. The instrument is advanced over the stone like a grasper. When the basket is closed, the stone is held in place by the three-armed design.
The 11 mm basket can handle stones of various sizes and retrieve or reposition them in the renal pelvis. Nitinol enables high dimensional stability and radial force.
The handle allows intuitive single-hand operation. Stones can be fixed in the basket with the help of the stepless locking option on the handle.
