The sinus-XL-Flex is a versatile, self-expanding High-Flex stent for the treatment of obstructions of the curved segments of the inferior and superior vena cava, iliac vein and femoral vein. As a member of the XL family, it stands out for one special feature – it is approved for both the vena cava and the aorta.
It is suitable for the treatment of vena cava syndrome, among other things, because the longitudinal flexibility¹ of the sinus-XL Flex stent allows the natural breathing movement of the chest. The syndrome can also be triggered by tumors pressing on the vena cava² – the so-called tumor compression.
